CAB Fishing

Our 11 acre lake, known as Lake Bullowa, is a great place to learn to fish.  A private preserve, you do not need a fishing license to help the girls with their fishing skills.  It is “catch & release”.  Sunnies, pickerel, and bass as well as turtles have been known to take the bait.

We have a number of closed and open reels and rods, although, the lines may need untangling and the hooks replaced.

Safety cones are used to mark safety zones for each girl and walking paths to protect the safety of the participants and helpers.

There is a fishing dock and bamboo poles and drop hooks can be used.  Life vests must be worn by any participant going out on the dock.

The preferred bait is worms.
