Kamikaze Kanoers
1979-2014
We think the first Rockland County team was formed in 1979. It consisted of one 6 person relay team, one canoe and no uniforms.
Coach Lois Gesner was there from the start, but did not travel to the race until a couple of years into the event. Her daughters, Patrice & Denean, were on the first teams.
